The Meadows

We had the pleasure of crafting a suite of bespoke furniture for this striking renovation and extension project by D2 Architects. From the outside in, the home has been transformed. A rear extension clad in black brick and metal brings a bold new silhouette, while expansive Crittall-style windows invite floods of natural light into the reimagined spaces.

The interiors, thoughtfully curated by the team at Lewis Knox are eclectic, expressive, and full of personality. It’s a home that wears its character proudly, perfectly suited to the young family who live there.

The homeowners entrusted us with the a large amount of interior joinery package, every element was designed and made from scratch, tailored specifically to their lifestyle and aesthetic. Our bespoke pieces included extra-wide bedside tables with elegant cut-out handles and fitted wardrobes in a warm oak finish, with flush fronts and minimal detailing. Both had clean, simple lines that highlight the natural grain of the timber - understated and timeless. We also created custom cabinetry featuring ribbed, beaded timber detailing topped with marble. A subtle nod to the family’s love of 1920s glamour, adding depth and texture.

It’s been a joy to see this one evolve from early sketches through to the final install. A vibrant, layered home, designed with care and brought to life through true collaboration.
