Earlier this year, Helen and Simon Knox, directors of interior design studio Lewis Knox, took ownership of Maple & Stone.
To reflect a new era and a new future vision, the company has rebranded and will now be known as Prenwood.
With a renewed focus on design, craftsmanship, and individuality, Helen and Simon have been working with brand studio Stride to explore a new name and brand that communicates this.
'Pren' is Welsh for 'wood', so the name brings together the Welsh roots of a company based in Wrexham and its new English owners and reflects the client base from both sides of the border.
Taking an established business forward is a big move. We wanted to develop a new brand that celebrates its roots but represents our long-term vision. We're a team that's proud of our heritage but ready to push the business forward.
The new brand reflects Prenwood’s values as a straightforward furniture company with craftsmanship and originality at its heart and includes a brand palette of nature-inspired green, timeless neutrals, and a burst of vibrant orange.
Helen and Simon bring a unique insight and deep understanding of the interior design industry’s demand for quality joinery to a business that has been crafting exceptional furniture for more than 40 years.
