Sustainability

Our suppliers have a full chain of custody accreditation proven by their FSC Certification.

All of which work with a base of large reputable mills that are supplied by responsibly managed FSC compliant forests. Our chipboard is sourced from the UK and made up of over 80% recycled product.

All parts of our timber and sheet materials are used. Shavings are used in equine and animal bedding, of which we offer FOC to the local farming community. Any other offcuts are recycled responsibly by our recycling partners. Waste which cannot be reused or recycled is offered as kindling to raise money for local charities.

We build everything right here in our Wrexham workshop, cutting out miles of unnecessary travel. Our location within the heart of Wrexham Industrial Estate, which is the biggest in Wales allows us to partner with suppliers and tradespeople within a small radius.

A large proportion of joinery companies source cabinetry from factories from around the world, having it shipped over thousands of miles. Instead, we build all our cabinets by hand right here at our Wrexham workshop

At Prenwood we do take sustainability seriously, trying to do everything we can to help cut waste and carbon emissions. We know there's always more we can do and are always open to new ideas. Please get in touch if you think you can help us do better.....
